During the months of September, October and November, we will be offering a variety of youth adventure programming in outdoor sports such as rock climbing, paddling and backpacking skills. These outings build the foundation of each sport and provide the safety, knowledge, and enthusiasm to encourage youth to continue pursuing outdoor adventures. Check below for specific date/sport availability.

How Much

Cost of attendance:  $89 per child 

Reduced Price*:  $59 per child 

(*for students with proof of free/reduced lunch)

Pickup and Drop-off will be at Sloane's Lake Boat Ramp Parking Lot (4939 W Byron Pl)

  • Any youth between the ages of 11-16 are welcome

  • Group size will be capped at 12 people in order to maintain a 6 to 1 instructor to youth ratio

  • A minimum of 6 will be required to run the program

Rock climbing

Our day begins by learning the equipment necessary for climbing and the basic safety skills required to have fun. The remainder of the day will be spent climbing, building the expertise and confidence needed to pursue the sport in the future!

Our day begins by learning the basics of a backpacking, from what to pack to how to pack it. The remainder of the day will be spent embarking on a beautiful hike, enjoying the outdoors while practicing camp skills and outdoor safety. Enjoy a day in the outdoors and build confidence in the outdoors!
